Catanzaro has started renovation works at the "Nicola Ceravolo" stadium, an intervention awaited for 55 years. The Scutieri company has begun with the dismantling of the covered stand's roof, part of a larger project that also includes the renovation of the "Massimo Capraro" Curva. Mayor Nicola Fiorita stated that the investment amounts to 10 million euros, aiming to modernize the structure and increase capacity with new additions. Fiorita also communicated that, despite the inevitable inconveniences, efforts are being made to ensure that the first matches of the season can take place in Catanzaro. It is likely that the club will request to play the first two matches away, but there is a push to make the stand usable for the opening day. The mayor emphasized the importance of managing the works to minimize disruptions for fans and the team. The new curva could increase capacity by over two thousand seats, and all options are being evaluated to ensure proper logistical management during the renovations.
